Lego spacecraft

In my off-time (9:00pm to 3:00am) I like to sometimes play with a box of legos that I've had for several years, and over those years I've made some pretty impressive spaceships... five to be exact (well, four now, the fifth was so small that it disappeared pretty quickly).

I have just today photographed almost all of them, and I'm leaving them here to show you all.

no, but it is a similar craft. both serve the same function.

Great thread! Speaking of Sid Meier, the spaceships from the Civilization series would make a nice set of vessels. The first would be easy to model.

Cool. I keep toying with the idea of making the Alhpa Centauri system from SMAC for Orbiter; trying to make a high-res texture for Planet is a bit daunting though...

Bloody expensive pieces of plastic that are never the less quite fun to play with.

Spaceships, i've made plenty.
The one i still have around is the Vanderer:

It's an interstellar vessel pieced together from orbital debris around a dead world, and fired towards a neighbour star in hopes to keep the life going.

Three large shuttles around a keel with multiple mis-matched habitats, all pushed by a refined magic propulsion system.

Kinda apocalyptic thing i've made last year from whatever lego i've got left after my nephew's systematic raids on my supplies.

These are two large cislunar battleships I made a year or two ago, and have had great fun with (mostly before I found Orbiter...when Lego was the main outlet of my imagination :lol

There was this whole enormous plot involved in my Lego-playing...too bad I can't remember a lot of it now.
