Lego Trailer for Crane Truck (8258) (Warning: large pictures)

Just a short entry.

This is my progress on my trailer for my Lego Crane Truck.
This uses the parts from another set of the same kind.
A pretty simple flatbed, but it can carry a 6-pack and I think it could be strong enough for 2

Working on motorising the truck, I think I am up to the third design change (Though that could be argued) and I think for the first time in ages I will need a fourth. Basically the truck needs 2 N to get moving and the motors provide 2.5 N.cm, I have 2 motors so I have 5 N.cm, it is geared down 3:1 and 28:20 which is a bit less than 5:1

So I now have to redesign a part of it to cope with the torque of the 2 motors and hope that it will be enough power

IT IS ALIVE!!!!

4th time lucky, though only the second time for the steering, so that averages out to 3 times again proving Willy88's adage correct.

Anyway, it would seem we should have enough toqure to move the trailer and hopefully the 6-pack
