I am looking for a programmer that is interested in picking up a programming job to assist me in creating a deep space probe or probes that I will be able to launch from a series of Velcro Rockets. Nothing too fancy, (well at least I don't think so) required, but if someone is REALLY interested, what I am REALLY looking for the following things. Most Likely be using a variation of Saturn V so I can get a probe with some bulk and ofc science equipment up and out...
Simple animated probe for Polar LEO, solar panels, small dish to transmit data back to mission control ect. Simple? ya I know but well, not enough junk in orbit around my earth, bout time I add something
Next mission will be landing a probe on the moon (general I know but don't wanna get to excited if I don't have the vehicle)
Next Missions will ofc depend on what launch windows are approaching and I am looking to actually run the launch of the mission to IRL time as my schedules will allow me
I would love to have the probes be able to be destoyed (eg I try enter atmosphere too deep and the burn hole though aeroshield). I will be posting my sucesses and failures. Once they seperate from their last stage be it a stage that someone wants to program in as part of the PAYLOAD or the last VELCRO rocket stage, have limited and realistic thrust in main engines for orbit corrections/insertions and RCS to allign themselves.
Something I can disengage from them to shoot into atmospheres or landing capabilities depending on the body I am going to land on and ofc the ability to tell me how much pressure, temp from reentry. I wanna orbit, scan, probe, stick, spit on, and anything else I can think of doing to EVERY stock body (maybe Pluto if I install it, but honestly I not even been out past Mars yet)
