Question Loss of basic autopilot in HUD

Hello got a rookie question. I lose my basic autopilot control when switching from a ship with virtual cockpit to one without. ie. prograde,retro,killrot... restarting Orbiter puts it back to normal

Try pressing F8 in the vessel to switch between cockpit modes. It is possible that going from a virtual cockpit to a vessel without one would cause the HUD mode to not reset back to Orbiter's default HUD. F8 will switch between the three modes ("pure" orbiter, 2D panel, VC cockpit), if available.

if that does not help try cycling "H" to get proper hud
