I am working on perhaps my biggest project ever. You remember my old 25 minute movie, Luna? Well, that was a beta. I am going to give it another try, now that I have a better understanding of Vegas and the different effects on it. Here's a teaser trailer I made, just to get my subscribers interested.
Would anyone be willing to help me on this?

What sort of help are you looking for...
I boarded, shot and edited that video... the music was recorded by friend of mine... but I want to make a good film... what is in your mind?

I guess just someone who could do necessary coding and addons for special effects.

I think it is a cool idea to make this movie! I cannot really help you, but I would like to tell you that you really try to go on with it and then it will surely be a cool movie :)!

I just saw your YouTube channel and I share your opinion on what they did to the first part of your Beta Version :(! But I got one question: In the cool trailer here, what is the song that is playing in the first part (where you can see the fish)?

As Lander said, I'm only able to offer my support, however, I can suggest this: To avoid YouTube going nuts at using licensed songs, follow this simple ten-step procedure:

1. Type out a letter (note, not an e-mail, as letters probably hold up better in a court of law), asking for permission to use it in your not-for-profit project, to the appropriate record company.
2. Print it out twice.
3. Sign each copy once.
4. Send one copy to the company (file the other).
5. If you get permission, go to step 6, otherwise, choose another song and repeat.
6. Make film, with all the wizz-bang affects.
7. In the credits, note the song name and artist, and put in a small message at the same time saying "Used with permission".
8. Release.
9. ???
10. Let the population of the Earth bask in your legal awesomeness.

Because your awesomeness is then legal.

:hesaid:

Haven't we been over this before?

Firstly, contrary to your statement here, there are still no credits for [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3826"]this addon[/ame], and you're still masquerading as Aperture Science.

Secondly, you added a credit to your video here but you need to be very determined to find it, ie, you need to hover the mouse over the video at just the right time, it is in much smaller font than your own credit and, to make matters worse, you got the name wrong. It is Valve Corporation, not Valve Software.

Third, what was the outcome of this:
Yeah. Well, I already sent them an email questioning the copyrights, so we'll just see if this repaints will or won't send be to jail for 5 years, lol.

Fourth, I noticed your comment here that Frank Sinatra can't share. Besides Frank Sinatra being dead 10 years now, I suspect your beef is more with the copyright holders (most likely his label) than with Frank himself. That aside, are you seriously surprised that they didn't want you to use their music? Did you ask, and ask before you published it?

Finally, 25 minutes is hardly feature length.
