Thanks. Whilst it did fix the problem on the Lunar mining complex, but seeing as I don't wish to limit my operations to just the one base & like to see Orbiter in all its glory within D3D9, is there a more specific fix than turning off object shadows in the Orbiter Launchpad?
I don't know, I do know generally the person who creates those addons uses a lot of large meshes, so even if a surface mesh is used for terrain, it creates a shadow and if a landing pad is there, it will have a shadow over it.
