Project Lunar Operations Station Omicron

Well, It doesn't help to have a correctly converted mesh if you can't get a usable texture map. :P
I suppose I'll convert the rest of the meshes while I figure this out.
 
Well, looks like I'm going to have to use different software for the UV Mapping (UV Mapper is terrible at it :P) any suggestions? I really need to get a usable map. :(
 
Not being an expert, am using Wings 3D. So far my texturing is awful, normals or no normals...
 
Can anybody point me towards the correct settings to use in UV Mapper for Orbiter, or to a better UV Mapping software? I really need to textures these so I can start programming.
 
Anim8or's UV mapping isn't great, but I find it adequate. If you use it, I'd suggest converting to .3ds format before importing.

Also, you can use Spacecraft3 as an interim approach for animations. In other words, do your initial animations using SC3 so you have something semi-functional while you turn to coding your own dll. You basically can get around the UMMU limitations by using computerrex's UMMUFA and still use SC3.
