Question Mercury & Gemini Add on list

Hi All

I am very new to teh orbiter space program, and at this stage am so overwhelmed at teh add ons available, and the different versions, that I have complete confused myself on what is required.

I have created a seperate installation of orbiter to be able to run teh Project Mecury and Gemini missions. I have a normal installation of orbiter of which I am running the go play in space tutorial, and will use this as teh base installation.

I have downloaded teh following:
Base orbiter 2006p1 files
orbiter sound 3.5
PlanetHires060504.zip
moonlevel9.zip
a list of texture upgrades (sun, contrails, etc)
Earth060504_L10.zip
earth_1962_060506.zip
K-LC-14.zip
LC14.rar
project_mercury_050116.zip
project_mercury_061129.zip
project_mercury_061203.zip

I deleted teh entire list of Scenarios form teh default intsalltion (except teh quicksave folder). Now a few of the scenarios that are installed, by installing teh above addons, give me a crash to desktop. If I run teh orbiter diagnostic, i get a load of textures that are missing.

The some of teh other (inside the project mecury folder) launch from a modern lanuch site, and not from LC-14 like expected.

I hope all of this makes sense. Have i installed correctly? am I missing something?

I am really a noob at orbiter, adn as I said before completely overwhelmed, so I do apologise in advance if its jus a bunch of dumb questions

You probably experience problem with sun config.
Open scenario and check is there only Sol like this:

BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol
Date MJD 37715.6126157407
END_ENVIRONMENT

If is not or it is like this might crash orbiter:

BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol_MG
Date MJD 37715.6126157407
END_ENVIRONMENT

Than simply use only Sol delete _MG or whatever may be.

Ok if take a look at it, make me kinda glad I have a seperate installation of Orbiter for teh Mercy & Gemini Project. I had it so confused afterwards, that I have deleted it and am starting afresh as I type this
