Starting here with some things I start to remember from playing Minecraft.
Are you annoyed by gravel? Here's a useful hint. If you are in front of a high gravel wall and you just want to dig along, don't waste your shovel. Destroy the lowermost gravel block with a torch and immediately place the torch on one of the side walls after it is destroyed. This way all gravel blocks will fall down and be automatically destroyed by the torch. Saves shovel lifetime and time.
