I'm thinking of buying a new computer, so which is better for Minecraft, Windows 7 or XP?
There's no difference directly, but I'd recommend getting a good 64-bit CPU and at least 4GB of memory, for which you'd be best off with Win7. The 32-bit version of Java is apparently limited to only a bit more than a gig of memory, which can cause crashes in minecraft on higher settings.I'm thinking of buying a new computer, so which is better for Minecraft, Windows 7 or XP?
What texture pack it that?
Very nice! Is this on the server?A new bace beneath the serface of the ocean:
There's a stunning undersea canyon system just beneath it. Exploration has barely begun, but so far I've found huge columns of water falling into magma lakes, turning the surface into obsidian.![]()
If only! No, this is on creative singleplayer. Undersea construction is very difficult when you can drown. But if we had enough interest and a good location... :hmm:Very nice! Is this on the server?

You can use glass panes, iron bars, fences, or sugarcane to make "bubbles" underwater that allow you to breathe.we need scuba tanks!
Yes, but it only took one person two days to make that in Creative. Should deffo try this on the server though.I think it's more interesting when you can drown![]()
Fences work nicely, easy to place and easy to remove. Netherrack might be fastest to deflood the rooms, it breaks very quickly with even a stone pick, is plentiful at Nether Alpha and is almost entirely useless otherwise. We've had to melt most of what we get just to keep the stocks from overflowing. You can use glass panes, iron bars, fences, or sugarcane to make "bubbles" underwater that allow you to breathe.
