Good news, I think Mojang Was/Is Experimenting with the height limit. Imposing tower of doom 250 blocks high here we come!

Yeah, the limit won't be changed in the next release but it will be made much easier to change

Thanks, precisely what I've been looking for.

Edit: Damn, it doesn't work with the HD texture fix.

Edit2: I got it working by installing it and Modloader through the patcher.

I've finished the S-IVB, now I need a bit of help, how high is the inter-stage that held the LM? You know, the one that goes from the S-IVB to the CSM.

luckily it kills you, so you can resoawn and don't have to fall into eterniy...
this is one of the coolest things I ever did in minecraaft and I use it in my quest-map (I posted it yesterday), too.

There's a free version available which is the "classic" version that allows you to build whatever, but is very limited relative to the current beta version.

To get access to the beta version, it's about $20.

There's also a Minecraft demo (which will get less and less up to date as time goes on of course) that was made for PCgamer. You can only modify a world for 90 minutes, but you can reset as many times as you like and is otherwise unmodified.

Also, there should be a mod that lets you build a rocket and go to the moon. Did you know that the craters on the moon were not all caused by asteroid impacts, but by creepers?
