I remember reading about how astronauts fixed the Hubble Space Telescope in space when I was a kid. The pictures taken by Hubble always fascinated me, as well as Mir Space Station. I have no idea why, but these two had a great influence on my passion for space. Today I met the guy who grappled Hubble and took it into the cargo bay of Discovery: ESA's French astronaut Jean-François Clervoy. He visited Space Camp Turkey today where I work as a counselor. I've met with other astronauts before, like Anna Lee Fisher, Richard N. Richards, Romanian cosmonaut Dorin Prunariu and I guess some others too as I've been working there for last almost three years
But today, it felt different because of my love for Hubble I mentioned.
