Yes. On some of my copters I have the blades spin and then at some point then go away and a mesh with blurred blades shows up. How are you flying it?

if I can't animate the propellers, I have a backup plan with a drawn effect in blender, but I would like them to spin for real Hopefully someone will make a system in the future that allows you to create aviation

Where the blades were a separate mesh. When the the blades started to spin a timer started and when it reach a certain number the blades went away and a rotating disc appeared. The disc had a transparent part and blurred blades

Might be doable, after all I have the Blok-D ready from the Energia 5 project. Still quite a lot of work on the Long March 5 but yeah, a Proton would be fun, always liked that one
That one was one of my favorite's addons for O2010, Thorton (another Russian orbinaut) really did things right :

IIRC Thorton's Proton did some heavy lifting for OFSS way back in the day.

Yeah same story here I used it for all kind of Proton/Soyuz Lunar EOR/LOR missions and stuff. Proton is a classic and can be used in many custom scenarios, because it was first used in the 60's and is still active 60 years after with the K then M versions... And is powerful enough to do most of the LEO station-building job. A workhorse, that's exactly it.
Seems a good idea to stay in the line of what Thorton's did, but with our own stuff. So that it would more or less look like a "2021 revamp".
So I'll let you people do the "documentation" job with is quite time-consuming and might require to read Russian for best results. What first I need is a good blueprint-like diagram I can use for accurate modeling, having the dimensions written on it would really help a lot.
That one is not bad but I'm sure we can find even better stuff :
