Moving a Base...

I think I know the answer to this one, but I'm going to ask anyway to be certain...

If I want to duplicate a base (KSC, for example...) and move it to another location - in essence, making a new base with the same layout - is it as simple as making a duplicate of the base file, with a new name, and changing the 'location' entry...?

I know that I'll have to do something similar for any scenario I want to duplicate at the new base... or else I'd be launching from a different site. hmy:

I just want to know if my reasoning is sound on this one... :lol:

Go to Earth/Base directory and copy the .cfg file of the base you want to duplicate.
Let's say you want to duplicate it on the moon.
Go to Moon/Base directory and paste the file.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of moving a base from one point on Earth to another.

(Say... duplicating KSC in Nova Scotia... )

yep, you just have to remember to change the name of the base.

I put a runway in the field just outside my house. my neighbours are not gonna like that, but hey, the future is now! lol
