General Question My return

I have said about a month ago I was going to return to Orbitor. I had to have surgery so now today is my return. I have made a full recovery. But I do have a couple question to ask.

1. I am still a novice at Orbitor and see there is a Beta, Should I download the beta or stick to what I know for now.

2. The Obivious question, if I wait on beta is there a guess or a best estimate when it will be stable.

Welcome back.

The beta is now at RC1 and seems stable in my experience. I have not tested it with a wide range of addons yet.

It is advisable to use the current stable release.
Since you are a novice, you won't run into unforeseeable problems with the beta/RC. And many people, including me, will not help with problems encountered when using a non-stable version.

You won't have to relearn a single thing when switching to the new version when it comes out. So unless you have special needs that can only be met with the beta, you should not be using it.

P.S.: As you can read many times on this very page, the simulator is called "Orbiter" and not "Orbitor".
