News Nasa Finds 7 Rocky planets in 1 star system

Nasa Confirmed this today and reveals 3 planets are within the stars habitable zone

There is an illustration that shows that this star/planetary system is similar in size to Jupiter and its moons. What does that mean as far as the radiation environment on those planets, tidal forces, etc.? They may be in the thermal Goldilocks zone, but getting blasted with radiation and having the planet constantly wrenched with earthquakes might make extraterrestrial radio astronomy a challenge on those planets (among other challenges). Might be covered in mutant lichen.

as everyone can see the orbital periods are really small thats because the sun is a tiny cool red dwarf, the planets are so close to its parent sun that in our system they would not excist or be scorched.

The planets all come pretty close to each other, and they're all near the host star, so I don't think moons would be stable. It looks more like the Jovian system than the solar system.

I think so too, but non-stable orbits might still hold for a few million years. Long enough for humans not to care too much.

Those large planets relatively close to one another would make flying quite fun.
