It looks like the launch was successful this time, so that's certainly a positive. Night launches are always brilliant. The Taurus XL has been unkind to its last two payloads, both of which happened to be climate monitoring satellites. This is one of the final flights for the Delta II, which has fortunately maintained its good track record.
