Pretty new to Orbiter and am having problems with a couple of addons.

Orbiter works fine but can't get sound or the NASSP to operate.
I assume that you don't get ANY Sound, right?
the files have been installed into the orbiter folder and seem to be in the right place
You did extract those files, right. As far as I remember, NASSP did come with no "Installer", so you have to extract the contents of the archive (ZIP) file into your Orbiter-directory.
OrbiterSound however should have an "Installer" that does that for you.
but when pulling up the module tool from within orbiter, they are not listed. I have reinstalled orbitersound 3.5 numerous times with the same results. anybody know what I'm missing
If you don't have any sound at all, could you please give some information on your system / setup?
- What OS are you using? (WinXP, win7, 64bit,etc.pp...)
- Where did you install (extract) Orbiter to ("c:\orbiter" or "D:\sims\orbiter", or whatever)
- What Version of Orbiter are you using (e.g. "v100830")
In general, NASSP and OrbiterSound work together quite well
