Hello!

I think most of us are flying on 'universal manned spacecrafts' - such as DG, XR, and so on. It's quite interesting but very very unrealistic. Although they're well detailed, it's very anrealistic to send a 5 ppl crew to a 8 years long trip to Jovan system, for example.

So, i've started finding a well-detailed near realistic unmanned ship - and didn't find one! The only one i've found is Chapman Probes - but i didn't manage to run them under Orbiter2010.

So idea is creating (or assembling) a more or less universal unmanned interplanetary ship.

I suppose it may have following characteristics:
-launcher with heading autopilot and ~230km parking orbit (such as Energia)
-have a relatively small (realistic) unboard dV, like 250-1000 m/s.
-ion (or VASSIMR) engines is an option, too
-have a power source (solar cells for inner planets trip, and fuel elements for an outer planet trips)
-have a camera! flying BrianJ's vessels (such as Vega) i've found it very interesting to take fotos
-e.t.c

IMHO flying that ship will be quite a challenging and requre an accurate sling planning, performing MCC, using ion engines, for example, to achive a lower capture dV with asteroid e.t.c

So, that's a basic concepts.
