Isn't it interesting how everyone intuitively started to call this comet ISON? Could someone predict that? (I personally hate to name it ISON. It's C/2012 S1! 
I don't like when words or abbreviations for something get more meanings when they don't have to.)
Too bad I am in Czech Republic. Here is the comet above the horizon right before morning when is everyone still sleeping. In addition it's cloudy.

It's a human thing, and it's why we name planets, stars, nebulae, and so on. It's a sort of personification.

ISON was kinda a pathetic comet to begin with, so this is a fitting end if so.

FWIW, I've never seen a decent comet before. The good ones in my recent memory, such as Lovejoy and McNaught, were in the southern hemisphere. PANSTARRS wasn't very impressive, and ISON even less so.
Correction: The 1997 comet was named Comet Hale-Bopp.Too bad; after seeing Haley and Halle-bob I was hoping for another good comet.......just have to wait for the next one
