Do you mean gameport, not serial port?I have an old CH FlightStick and Rudder Pedals which uses a serial port, bought before USB ports. The pedals are very sturdy and I hope I can use them again some day. My desktop PC still has a serial port, so they are hooked up, but I do all my computer stuff on my laptop these days, so I got a Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D with a twist rudder. Maybe I should see if I can get rid of the CH pedals on craigslist...
IIRC, the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS stick has a gameport in, specifically intended to allow pedals to be plugged into it.
I also currently use the Wingman Extreme 3D currently as the stick, with the throttle from a Saitek X45. The twist rudder on the Wingman is far better than the little throttle rudder lever on the Saitek, so I just combine the two for the best of both worlds.
