New Nasa MMO / simulator in the works?

Today on slashdot I found a link to an article about the new Massive Multiplayer planned by NASA as a promotional / educational tool. I'm sure people here will be interested in this.

Now to the sad part of the story.
The article included some early screenshots which are probably just mockups and not representative of the final product. And if you look a the screenshots closely... I think you'll agree the ISS and orbiter models are more than a tad familiar, down to the specific textures used on them.

The same accusations were levelled at Space Shuttle Mission 2007, and those turned out to be false.

Edit: It appears that in this case they are in fact the same models/textures.
