Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a new pc (Gaming). Need some suggestions.

We may need a little more than that; your primary limiting factor will be your budget, so it's important to know what kind of gaming you want to do to identify what's important to you and what you can compromise on in terms of cutting-edge hardware.

Exactly. Give me infinite budget and unlimited thermal constraints (dedicated room with huge AC), and I can build a gaming machine that costs $10000 per 0.1% performance increase in benchmarks...

I'm about to build my new one:
Chip: INTEL Core i7-6800K 3,40 gHz LGA2011-V3 15MB Cache
MotherBoard: Asus S2011-3 Sabertooth X99 Scheda Madre ATX
SSD for OS: SSD 960 EVO PRO 1TB M.2
Graphic Card: Asus GeForce ROG STRIX-GTX1080-8G-Gaming Scheda Grafica da 8 GB, DDR5X
RAM: Corsair CMU64GX4M4C3200C16R Vengeance LED Kit Scheda RAM da 4 x 16 GB, 3200 MHz
plus a Noctua heat dissipator and a big power unit

@Killerm: as mentioned we need more info, specifically:
  • Budget
  • Major components you might keep, such as monitor(s)

@fred18: that build is neat!

6800K?
What about Ryzen 7, or 5? A 500Watt power supply should be sufficient for your purposes unless you plan to multi-gpu later.
A single gtx 1080 is more than enough unless you plan to play at 4k.

And a Ryzen 7 or 5 with equivalent motherboard is sufficient for single gtx 1080.

If you got money to burn what more can I say? Enjoy by all means:thumbup::) :D
