Hi everyone I'm new to the Orbiter Community.

I have been a part of the "Microsoft Flight Simulator Community for 3 years now passing through MSFS2004 and MSFSX :hotcool: . Having have had joined a Virtual Airline I was promoted to Boeing 757 Captain  . Using my aviation knowledge, I now want to take my learning experience even further and will extend myself into space exploration using Orbiter. At the moment I'm a beginner and hope to be a pro later on. :)

Thanks, I hope to enjoy my time here. :)

Welcome. I am a long time orbiter user (good at getting places) but new to these forums aswell. So If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask.I highly recommend the go play in space tutorial it helped me alot when I was new.

Yes, you definitely want to check out go play in space. It is extremely useful.
I've been Orbiteering for about 7 months now, and there's still tonnes I don't know.

Go Play In Space can be found here, FYI.

Hi Acepilot, welcome to the forum and Orbiter!

You can find many valuable resources right here on the forum including a whole list of tutorials HERE and recommended addons HERE. I came from MS Flight Sim as well when I found Orbiter and have really enjoyed every minute of it. Orbiter will challenge you like no other simulator, but the reward and satisfaction you get when you learn how to fly in Orbiter is the best I've ever experienced from any simulator.

Welcome once again! :welcome:

Welcome to the final frontier! There will always be no end to the new things you will be able to find to do. And the education value is quite high. It's not the ultimate in atmospheric flight but it's un-rivaled when it comes to orbital physics! With your experience and enjoyment of Microsoft flight simulator you will surely be pro material here!

:welcome:
Hey Acepilot, I wish you luck in learning Orbiter. That first docking will be akin to a first landing. Have fun. We are all ready to help if you have any questions.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'll check out the addons and tutorials.

I've been reading the whole Orbiter manual of 123 pages. Quite long but it's got good stuff in it. :)

Thanks Tex. I've flown over 100 Hours on MSFS.

I've seen your work on youtube. Awesome Orbiter videos :speakcool: .

The first time you dock with space station you may feel compelled to start a thread named "I DID IT!!! YEEEEEHAAAAAA!!!"

 I don't know how to dock yet. Soon I'll find out.

But, sure I'll make a thread like that! :j/k:
