Reorganizing my addon's archives, i've found this, coming from (one of ?) the first author (s?) of NASSP via SimFan. I do not know if i will delete it - i do not think that there is more that a dozen of Orbiter's users wich have it and maybe less - but if it is the case, i'll like to share it with the Orbiter forum. It's some topics coming from the ancient's age of Orbiter's foras ( i was not there at that time ) when people was living as the Trodoglytes does. Not corresponding through morse or smoke's codes but not far from that.:)

its always nice to look back, if only to reminde yourself how far we have come :tiphat:

By the way...

Has any of you tried to use the old Orbiter? I tried Orbiter 010503, the oldest version available at OrbitHangar. It was amazing. It was so weird I could barely get off the ground. To start, I had to take-off from Olympus. I have no idea if it's possible to be switched. Then, I couldn't figure out how to move the camera. The textures and meshes were also... bad, to say at least.

I must say that I loved this experience. I always liked trying old stuff. I would try Windows 1 if I could! :)

Having experience with O2003 helps. The controls change a little every version, but such a leap could take you aback.

I didn't know that you can cry from nostalgia...

it also remembers me at the time when I didn't know that there are add-ons for the Orbiter and whe I thought the best way of flying a ShuttleA from earth to mars would be to aim it at mars and burn til 30 percent of the fuel is used... damnit that's only 1 and a half years ago!!!
and just one year ago I learnd to get a Space-Shuttle to Orbit. Piloting-talent isn't all - yuo must also know, what's to do.
