Problem Non Working Add-Ons (2010)

Hi,

Certain add-ons that require spacecraft3.dll do not appear in my Orbiter installation. When the scenario loads, no vessel is visible. An example of this is the USS Defiant vessel.

Is there something extra I need to install?

Do you mean the contents of the scenario file? It's happening with everything in the vinka foler. There are no MFD's either, no thrusters or engine power and sometimes no Earth either. Just empty space.

Do you use graphic clients? If so, remember to create symbolic links.

Ah yeah, I use the D3D9 client. I've gone into the base DX7 and they all work. How do I create the links?

There should be a tab on the launchpad for [advanced settings] or something.

Ah, launchpad, video, advanced...

There is a button to create symbolic links.

Or just go to config folder, copy the spacecraft folder and paste it into modules/server/config.

I created a symbolic link to Config in the Modules/Server folder but when I click on it it says that it refers to a location that is unavailable. Also, there is no change. Nothing loads in D3D9.

Did you do this via a command line, or did you use the button on the video/advanced page?

Don's method should work for you too.
