I don't know if this is a known bug, but when I use the scenario editor to place the DGIV inside the Arrow using the DOCK feature, the DG's nose cone is destroyed.

Is there a way round this?

Did you open the nose cone first?

Is the nose cone open when you do that?
Dang, 2nd by a few seconds...

Go into the DGIV and open the nose cone before docking. Simple.

So I should first place a DGIV somewhere in a scenario, then enter the DGIV and open the nose cone, then go to the scenario editor a second time and place the DGVI in the bay of the Arrow?

You don't have to close the scenario editor to open the nose cone.

And if you've set up a scenario and don't want to start from scratch, you can "repair" it in the scn file. Save the flight (or just edit (Current state).scn). Open it in Notepad and change the FailNoseCone value to 0(zero).

What he said. Create the DGIV, then go into the animations tab and set the nosecone open, THEN dock it to the Arrow.
