...And here you are only using Youtube videos as reference, having never tried it yourself. There are all kind of bad landing videos on Youtube. If you post links to them, I could take a look at them.
It's actually up 24/7 now, as Heilor noted:
I am now keeping the server up all the time, not just on weekends, as it provides a good way to heat that room, now that summer's over.
Hopefully I'll have time to get back on the server soon as well.
Server's up all the time now (except perhaps some brief downtime to do updates on a weekday evening). It was never up only on saturday, saturday is just the time that the "scheduled" flight happens.

worked in multiplayer for me and my bro... not sure what ur problem was
Perhaps plugging it a bit more in IRC or in the chat box or varying 'scheduled' flight times would help...on the other hand it has been holiday season.
If I spawn a vessel using AICarriers, no one else will see it. You'd have to have everyone manually spawn the same thing at the same time in the same location, which kind of defeats the purpose.
No, it doesn't work in multiplayer, so no, I won't be adding those to the list of recommended addons for the server. It also was showing up in the menu twice, and there was no way to close out of the menu once opened--not sure if this in Win7 specific or not, but anyway. Fun thing to play around with in single player maybe, but doesn't work for multiplayer.

I miss IRC
From the session today: CYVR to KPAE.
I was flying the PMDG 747-400X and was being escorted by F/A-18s all the way to KPAE.
Some images:

Tex is visible from the cockpit.. I think he waved
ILS 16R Approach at a wet KPAE. Tex and Astrosammy can be seen trying to stay with my lumbering bird as I start my final.
All in all a wonderful session!

Multiplayer FSX looks amazingly fun. I'm gonna build up my skills a bit more (the best I can do right now is a fairly level traffic pattern) and join in on this sometime in the future.

FYI: I was in the mood to fiddle with FSX today and sought out getting better performance and quality in it so I used NickN's guide on simforums.com
