General Question One star can orbit another

Is it possible for a sun the size of our own sun to orbit around Betelgeuse? Are there any stars that rotate around another star?

Within Orbiter, or within the Universal Simulator System (life)?

Alpha Centauri has 3 stars. One is a bit bigger than SOL, another a bit smaller. The third is a red dwarf and orbits further out.

There is a thread somewhere about multiple stars inside Orbiter, but not sure what the titles are.

Binary and multiple stars are actually more common than singletons like the sun.

You could set a very large object very far out. In sol.cfg
The ephemaris might just take it. It won't take two stars. Tried that.

IIRC, there is a limitation regarding the number of light sources allowed.

So I suppose that you could make a star-sized planet, but it will not shine.
