Request One time use lander and unpackable hangar

I'm going to do a long term mars mission and I need a lander-container to land ucgo cargos.I would like it to land with parachutes and bags so engines aren't needed.I would also need an unpackable hangar to keep the crew-carrying ships protected from sandstorms.If these are doable then perhaps someone is willing to do them,I would appreciate it

There is a one-time use [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4427"]UCGO lander[/ame], but it has engines. I don't think parachutes work very well in Mars' thin atmosphere, though, and if you have anything delicate in the containers you probably shouldn't bounce them around too much.

For the hangars, [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3692"]here[/ame] is a mesh for them, taken from WIN. They aren't UCGO compatible, but BJ produced a vessel container for OFMM that spawns whatever vessel you'd like on activation. I've included it in a zip file, as it isn't available on Orbithangar or anywhere outside this forum. Have fun.

P.S. The SVTU belongs to BJ, so do not use it in an addon without his permission. (I say this because it was originally just a POC and didn't include a license.)

Thank you for the hangar,the lander is for vacuum only,but in orbiter... :hmm:
I wanted to do something like a rain of landers over the area I want to build a base and to land the more fragile cargo with the piloted ship.

You know, come to think of it UCGO boxes have automatic parachutes when dropped in an atmosphere. I haven't tried it on Mars, but it might be worth a shot.

Parachutes and airbags alone won't work on Mars. Unless we're talking either gigantic oversized parachutes or gigantic oversized airbags.
