Software opening .cfg files

hi, i know it sounds pretty dumb, but i've downloaded the ceres add-on and they say that i have to modify sol.cfg, well, what's the software to open and modify it?

Double-click on it, scroll down the list and select NOTEPAD.

CFG files are just text files.
