What information should be included in a mission control program?
Tracking, vessel info, orbital parameters, base info?:idk: I need the information
for a stand alone program using the OrbConnect dll.

It depends on what you want the "mission control" tool to actually do. What's the end goal of it? That'll help shape what you want the application to do.

One final niggle, If the application is connecting to another application then technically it isn't stand alone...

IMHO, a mission control should include all of what you said. Using mission control, you should be able to find out where the vessels is, what it's orbit type is, where other vessels (or stations) are in relation to it, get information about it (hull temperature, fuel readings, open bays), and get information about where it is going. Basically, you should have access to all information about the flight that is being flown.

Ideas

Thanks for the quick replies. :) This is exactly the kind of ideas I need. How much of this data can be accessed from OrbConnect?

Just a little bit off topic, but;

I'd enjoy a Mission Control that doesn't need to be connected to the internet, one that an orbinaut could use during an orbiter simulation. It could display the things you all said, but one person could just use it for tracking information on a ship, it could be an outside source that has to be in the orbiter folder.

It could look like the mission control in SSM2007 or in space station sim game.

Users Guide that comes with the Orb:Connect package is mostly a list of the messages you can get. Its under doc/OrbConnect
