Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for getting orbiter to work on my dual screen computer?
running windows seven, I have found that when i try to run a scenario the rapidly scrolling text loads on the secondary monitor, and the primary one shows a plain white screen. After about thirty seconds of such, the orbiter.exe crashes.
Any advice?
If you need more information with regards to my computer, just ask.

On the visual settings tab check always enumerate devices.
Then, look into the list.
You should see several duplicate entries.
One of the pair means one monitor, another the second one.

In my case the last was the primary monitor, but YMMV.

Also, if you're using the built-in DirectX7 client you can just set your "3D device" in the video settings to "Direct3D T&L HAL": that always maps to your primary monitor.

The other workaround is to run Orbiter in windowed mode instead of full-screen.
