General Question Orbiter for sale on e-bay?

BTW, Dr. Schewiger modified the Orbiter license terms slightly for version 2010 (new part shown in red):

Orbiter Freeware License Paragraph 2 said:
You will not sell Orbiter or any parts of it, or charge others for use of it (either for profit or merely to recover your media and distribution costs) whether as a stand-alone product, as part of a compilation or anthology, or included in a separate software package, without explicit prior written permission by the licensor.

A good license tweak! So that means that any sales of Orbiter are prohibited without Martin's written permission, even if they specifically state that "the cost is merely to recover the media fee".

People who try to sell other people's work really burn me up!

Down with the rip-offs!

People who treat things like Orbiter like this should be treated like illegal downloaders: ie. :compbash2: to their net connection!

OR, we could get someone to set :probe: on him... That'd learn him!

Guys like Martin and the teams at projects like FlightGear and Simutrans have created software that gives much pleasure to others completely free, with no thoughts about profit for themselves.

Urgentemente:
I couldn't believe such a quality program was free... so to see someone trying to make a profit from it makes me :@

Martin et al should get the respect they deserve for it.
