I suspect you'll have more issues with routers than with ISPs. That was always an issue for a lot of people with OMP.

OMP is P2P and MC simply is not. Unless you have an unusualy strict firewall setup there should be no problems for clients with any port.

[For users with freebsd experience]: I connect to server to start it using puTTY. when server is on, I've to have putty still running, because when I close it, it automatically logs me off, so server closes. Is it possible to stay logged in without putty running?

Just run it as "servercommand &". That should run it in the background and depending on the server settings it should keep running.
For something like this though, you really should be using a tool called screen. If the server has it, USE IT!

It's not online now. But it will be online at 19:00 gmt+1(as i wrote before).

So, ladies(is any lady here:lol:?) and gentlemans! Grand opening today! Find free time and play with us!(event is in calendar).

I'll try to make server 24/7. For now I can only .

EDIT: I will make spawn and decorations for first launch today. OK? I won't explore the world or make any houses. I'll only make spawn and decorations and a mechanism which works this way: There's 5 pressure plates, and when every player(min. 5) will stand on it, the iron door will open.

If it's ok I can start make it.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the server launch. That time is 1-1:30 PM for me, which is after lunch. Not only can I not play on company time, but our firewall also blocks Java programs from connecting outside our network (which is also why I can't use the IRC web client). Yes, this means that if I could get a connection, I might sneak in a little time

I think that's an ace idea, assuming you can get it to work in the few hours left until the launch. Good luck, may the god of redstone guide your wires, and may the probe speed your path!

Also, 19:00 gmt+1 happens to be equal to 19:00BST! Yay!(Ignore my previous post about when I'm available, I've worked out I got it wrong.)
