News Orbiter: Recommended Addons

I see we have a thread created by members in the Addon forum listing addons they've found to work with Orbiter 2010. We'll give it a little time to ensure we get an accurate list of working addons before we update the recommended addons page. We'll probably split the page in two parts, one recommended addons for Orbiter 2010 and the other for Orbiter 2006-P1. :thumbup:

That's a useful thread! I've made it sticky for now until it runs its course and we move the relevant information to the Recommended Addons page, after which time we'll unsticky it. :tiphat:

When i click on "Venus Express" it brings me to the "soyuz series." Might want to fix that, if its not just me.

EDIT: Also when clicking on "WarpDrive MFD" it brings me to "Rendezvous MFD 050621" check if that's not just me either.

Good catch, can't believe the links got duplicated. Should be fixed now, thanks much for reporting it!

I would like to suggest Vessel Parameters MFD for both lists. It provides a lot of useful information about spacecraft propulsion & behaviour, very useful when doing addon development. I have been using it frequently on Orbiter 2010, so it is compatible

Could the D3D9 client be added on the list together with other clients? Also, the links for the textures which sends you to downloadorbitersim.com should be updated and send you to orbitersimulator.com instead.

Finally, Shuttle Fleet can be added again as it's now found on http://simviation.com/1/browse-Space+Orbiter-111-1

Several add-ons on the list currently missing

OK these few add-ons went missing since one or two weeks ago, due to what was apparently some arguments between one of the add-on developers and the website host:

Apparently there were plans to move them to O-H for hosting, but this hasn't happened yet.

Edit: The Orbithangar is changed drastically since the add-ons working in 2016 was listed. Better searching for individual add-ons on www.orbithangar.com.
