Question, how did HANS get those Flames/Smoke textures for the Launch? They look exactly like the Araine rockets boosters.

I agree, it's a fairly sad showing. I'm surprised more OF members aren't interested in the more creative sides of Orbiter.

Obviously writing's out for most of them, but images/screenshots and videos - in a word, Orbiter Art - doesn't seem to have much of a following.

Could it be that we're mostly too geeky to take an interest in creativity?

None. The beta version only exists in source code form in the SSU SVN repository.
