Hey guys i just used the orbiter flight recorder and was wondering where can i get these vids after im done if i can? Thanks for the help.

The flight recorder inbuilt in Orbiter actually dosen't record videos, it records flight data, similar to the real-life that is in the majority of airline planes. The files are then saved in the "Flights" folder in the Scenario folder, and can be re-viewed at your leisure from inside Orbiter.

Of course, at this point, you're probably thinking: So how do the local filmers, like Tex, actually record video files? Such a task requires a specialised, 3rd party program, such as Fraps. The trial version watermarks the videos, and limits them to 30 second clips, but there is no free, good alternative that I know of.

In the Orbiter Launchpad there is a file called Playback. Its in there -)

The flight recorder doesn't record videos, it records vessel trajectory and attitude data. You can view the recorded flight by loading the scenario you recorded in the "Playbacks" folder.

If you want to record videos you will want FRAPS or something similar.

EDIT: I obviously needed to brush on my speed typing...

Fraps is definitely well worth the amount that I paid for it.
