Yes that looks like the right size just make it orange and add the Orion/ICPS and I think thats it.. I would put it on the SLS pad with the spot lights

I'm glad to see Direct be resurrected. I'd piddled around with it before I got a change of job positions, but never continued work with it.

I am not sure this will be a true Direct though. I think direct had 3 engines

I like the 2 engine version I don't think this is direct even though that was pretty good

There were a few variants of Direct (at least 3), I was working on the second iteration. The most recent version I'd seen had 4 engines to lift the Orion and Antares, a 3 engine version was identical, just with an engine "missing" as in not installed.
I think the 2 engine version was for use in LEO, I don't think it had the dv to lob Orion into a Lunar transfer. I might bring this out of mothballs and work it up for multistage or velcro, just to for something to do.

I am looking for a smaller SLS for LEO missions as with the Saturn 1B Might need a cargo version as well

Oh. That means another mesh. I emailed the things for a launch. The shroud is a solid piece does it need to be split?

Not sure. But I guess when the ICPS and Orion are separated. Then the white/orange fairing goes off and the cargo is left?

I redid my Artemis2. On the cargo version I get the SAL in the area. But I may need to redo the cfg.

When I separate the stage the fairing and payload follow.

I guess we need separation no thrust. Fairing go away. rotate Icps and orion to get the SAL?
