General Question Other launch bases for Shuttle

Hello,
are there any other bases or scenarios that I can launch Atlantis from?
From KSC I can't reach Mir station because of location/orbit not crossing.

Should be no problem with the default Atlantis, you can use the scenario editor there. Note that this Mir isn't in the real orbit of Mir, it was intentially placed into an ecliptic orbit.



With SSU, you can't reach the Orbiter Mir station, because we can only support the prospected launch sites right now. Maybe the constants involved there could be changed in a later release, but that will likely always stay a lot of work. It would be easier to move Mir into its real historic orbit for this.

I tried scenario editor, but when selected other bases Atlantis was in horizonal position on any pad. Also when came back to KSC there was no more vertical launch option...
I am new to all this here

Don't select bases or pads there - just change the coordinates and attitude. If you select a pad, Orbiter likely resets the attitude to wings level.

Not solved - Atlantis always appears horizontal and I can't change its attitude.
I have installed beautiful Kourou scenery but how can I use it with Atlantis?

If I remember correctly, Atlantis is hard coded for Canaveral.

You best hope is to use the recompiled Shuttles by Gattispilot: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=38493&page=81&highlight=shuttle
Those can launch from other places (they are MS2015 based).
