Lol, I tried doing it, but I get a shuttle floating on mid air with SH-01 A under the shuttle.

OK, the only way that that could have happened it that you did something with the time. Launch into sunrise happens at, well, sunrise...

Also make sure that you have gotten rid of (either by deletion or commented out) the stock base and hardstand in the canaveral.cfg
