Well, all the core part of VesselMass is in place. The PegasusXL Mk2 works fine, and can put a payload in orbit from an air-launch point. VesselMass as a structure was more accreted than designed, and needs to be reviewed. I just added the parts that PegasusXL needed.
The last thing to do is make the stage detach use the propellant tanks, airfoils, thrusters, and meshes, and build a new vessel as a drop stage.
My Pegasus meshes are about 5 years old and UG-LY. I have all the details I need to make a really nice mesh, but that distracts from coding. At the same time, I can only code for so long before the screen turns to mush, and I'm about there for now.
The guys at Orbiter Mars asked me to do a side-launch heavy lifter, and I will do it with VesselMass also. They haven't given me a due date, which is a mistake. I am going to arbitrarily say next Saturday, and announce it to the world here, so I can't back out, as if anyone actually reads these.
