Problem Please Help I can't play ANY Delta-Glider mission

Okay, I downloaded patch v.006009 (Or something like that) and I tried Orbiter out and every time I play Vessel-vessel for example-it's LAGS A TON. I play Venus Descent-it's frozen. I tried un-installing Orbiter then re-installing it. I deleted the patch (Or at least I think I did) I couldn't find it anywhere, so I installed the patch thinking it would tell me It's already on the hard drive and then I deleted it and no change. Please help me out anything would help.

how did you "uninstall" it - normally just deleting the folder would do the job.

What do you mean it 'lags'? Do you mean that you press a key, and seconds later it responds? Or do you mean that you get a low framerate. If it's the latter, then it's probably because either the graphics mode is set to RGB emulation, or because your computer is donkey-poo (the forum objects to me saying sh1t).
