Possible London meet up at the end of the year?

Just wondering who would be interested in a London based meet up around end of Nov/Beginning of December 2009?

Any meet would be at a London based pub so you would have to be over 18 to attend.

Any thoughts?

Yup, I'd be interested. Around that time I will be in London. I don't know the exact dates yet but I will find out soon. Would be really cool to meet some fellow Orbiters

I usually don't plan that long ahead when it comes to going out for a drink , but most likely I'll be around.

Blane started it by mentioning that he would be in the UK at the end of the year so I thought I might as well get the ball rolling, make sure everyone has a space in their diary! :lol:

That's ok, as long as somebody sends me a reminder closer to the day.

Plus, I won't be able to confirm that I'll actually be there until a few weeks before, at the most. My general lack of organisation means that conferences, research trips and last minute project deadlines usually take me by surprise ...

Great idea guys. I haven't forgotten about the proposed meet here in the states, however since I took damage from Hurricane Ike I just haven't had the time or money to organize it for this year. I plan to update the thread soon and get things moving for a 2010 meeting.

Somewhere central like Covent Garden or Victoria/Westminster way.

Depends on where people are coming in to London from.

Why not in NYC? I know several gaming places there. A few I know have computers but not that many.

1. Because I live in Kent and work in London.

2. Because it's not a gaming meet but a social meet
