Per a request I have decided to use my O-F provided blog to issue periodic status reports on the SpaceShuttleUltra(SSU) project.
Right now the focus of the next public release of SSU is focused on providing a mission complete release, IOW, that you will be able to fly a mission complete from T-9 minutes and counting to wheelstop on a runway.
As AutoFCS have now become defunct, SiameseCat is coding a Angle of Attack(AoA) autopilot that will maintain the proper AoA through entry. I don't know that if a complete entry autopilot also called the Aerojet Digital Autopilot(Aerojet DAP) will be present in the next release.
Other things that will also be present in the next release is Space Shuttle Vehicle(SSV) rollout capability from the VAB, pad lighting and hopefully extended CRTMFD modes not currently present in SSU V1.25.
