Putting a face to the name

Apologies for the broken monitors.

That's me . . . holding the aptly-named Sir Not Appearing In This Film.

Cool! I really need to go there. And with 300 km it's still closer than our capital...

Maybe I'll have some time to drive to Hemer in August. Soyuz TMA-13 is there since 2010 (I hope it's still there) and it's just one hour away.

I think the Soyuz TMA-13 is on permanent display.

While you're in the area, you should also pay a visit to the Museum in Sinsheim, which has both supersonic passenger jets, the Concorde and the Tupolev Tu-144 on display. Both museums are worth a visit (lots of space stuff, planes, cars and other cool stuff). They offer a joint admission ticket which is a bit cheaper and both have IMAX (3D or Dome) theaters which also show space related movies.

No, I'm not affiliated with the museums ;)

I might find one somewhere where you can actually see my face!

This is me from a year or so ago. It is the most recent picture I have, I think.

I only have it locally on my computer, so, it will be an attachment.

That's me in DCU cammies and a flak during a training exercise for a reconnaissance unit my friend and I ran. This photo is several months old, and I have since "EAS'd" from it.
