Hello, I just wanted to make sure about one thing: There is no way to restart a scenario without loading it again ? Because on my computer it's quite long to load, so if it's impossible, is there any way to make it load faster ? Or restart faster, like by somehow keeping loaded in ram textures and sound.

Well, I guess not then, which is quite sad for newbies like me who crash/mess things a lot and thus restart a lot.

Also, on delta glider 5, xr planes and probably a lot of other ships, is there a way to have both the main screen and the one you see when you press ctrl+up, on the same screen anyhow, even involving editing game files ? I'd like that since there is space for both and still space left to see what's ahead. If not, at least is there an easier way to switch screen, like with wheel+up/down ? I know how to do it with autohotkey if not possible by default but it's more clean if possible without it.

Hi Rex,

A quick restart is not a default option on Orbiter.
However, you can of course build your own scenario and fly in it. When you crash simply close Orbiter and start it again. Will take less than a minute...

Other that that, have you tried out Statessaver? This also could be handy. It saves your status in form of a quicksave every couple of seconds.

There was a project: "[Project] Ingame Loading Add On?" with a simple example module uploaded in this post. From what I remember, it will crash Orbiter if used a couple of times to restore the state without completely restarting simulation, and it may not work for some add-on vessels and modules which require using "re-spawn Orbiter process" to work properly. It won't work with Orbiter beta or Orbiter 2006, as they use different version of VC++ than the module.
