Hi,

I don't have a joystick (and don't plan to acquire one) but I have a Logitech G25 steering wheel I used to play airplane simulator with it. I tryed my wheel with Orbiter+Joytokey, nose up with braking pedal, nose down with throttle and left and right with the wheel. I put engine and hover command on buttons.

Yet I face a problem : even quickly playing with throttle saturation and deadzone, when I take off, after reaching a certain speed to get into orbit the deltaglider "lags" and overturn in response. If I turn right at speed for exemple, i'll have to correct it to the left as it went to far right then right left right etc, the deltaglider always want to spin and it become unflyable.

I have no problem with the keyboard of course but wanted to have a more comfortable orbiter experience (the G25 is like new, no problem with racing games or Red Baron II for exemple). If anyone as a tip or saturation + deadzone combination to have a flyable spacecraft, please share ! :tiphat:

Orbiter fly-by-wire may help. I think it axis-to-function stuff and deadzone controls. The "lagging" is the problem of your analogue axis joystick pressing digital buttons on a keyboard, I guess.

Never used it myself though....
