Humor Random Comments Thread

So the fiesty buggers are trying to steal earth again?

.It will come as a welcome surprise for viewers of the show as last month it was announced that the Daleks would be axed after 48 years.

Maybe I won't be making much friends with this, but... it's about bloody time.

Design blindness and font insensitivity?
I guess it helps stay focused on the ideas rather than the appearances.

Seems like we suffer from the same issues. If it is readable, it is fine for me. So I also don't get the hysteria about that font usage.

Let's take another random turn of the topic.

I like to walk.
It's interesting to walk from one end of the city to another.
In the morning everyone is running past you, going to work to the centre areas, cars are standing in jams for the same purpose, everyone look late.
In the afternoon in the centre people are running around busy, trying to catch up with apparent lack of time, cars are stuck in traffic jams going from one place to another for some business reasons.
In the evening everyone is running past you trying to get home soon, cars are standing in jams, tired drivers hurry to get home with any time to spare.

It's kind of meditative to walk 40km across a city.

Meanwhile, someone in our county, who needs to get a life, has gotten aggravated with local political parties, and is trying to stir up controversy on Facebook...

Seriously, I just received the friend request from this guy.

Meh, I find the person behind that to be akin to the people behind every other antagonizing facebook page. Funny, but completely un-useful.

Google is celebrating the 540th birthday of Copernicus on their homepage, me gusta.

Facebook has trolls?

Matt's law: "As an online community grows bigger, the probability of trolls approaches 1."

The content of this post is in this post.

And bam! You just fulfilled your own prophecy. :P

Reference to making references to a topic? Well, I blew it!

In all seriousness though, I think Godwins law is pretty damn close. Of all of the eras of history Ive studied, none seem to be more poorly understood by the general public than WW2.
