Hey. Did you know the USCG recently imposed a physical height requirement?

You need to be at least six feet (2 meters) tall in order to serve aboard a ship.

That way, if the ship sinks, you can simply walk back to shore.

Actually 6' is ~1.8m. :tiphat:

On another random comment, did you know that MapleStory has a whole new job?
I know that because my brother always annoys me with it

I've been constructing a ring-shaped space station 1 kilometer in diameter which will have a full interior, using Google SketchUp.

I've also added a subscribe button to my blog... which has a couple more pictures of this...(small font size for modesty) No really, come visit! I need me some readers
:)

Excited about getting to fly on the company plane again next week (Citation V Ultra) :woohoo: Heading down to our facility in Virginia.

Viewing "Armaggedon" again... That movie is an absurdity, sequence after sequence (not only technically but also politically)

Don't they also talk about the military budget in the beginning of Armageddon? IIRC it was a value ten times lower than now. It that is true,, money that NASA could use...

You didn't realize that all the landing craft in WWII used by the US were commanded by the USCG? Shame on you. Neglect the smallest branch of the US armed forces at your peril. After all, they'll pull your sorry :censored: out of the ocean when you come up short on KSC and splash down in the Gulf!

No, not that at all. Shame on you for misunderstanding what I said. :P

What I meant is that a couple MARINES actually got rid of their arrogance and thanked the Coast Guard for a change.

Thanks for the little rant though, entertaining to read.

 My bad.

And

And how countries/people are seen :

USA : ultra-traditionnal families, all wearing USA flags on T-Shirts... Soldiers everywhere, from the mere infantrymen to the generals.
China : live in the Middle Ages, no electricity, houses made of wood and mud... (today their space program is developping at an impressive pace).
Russia : their only space asset is a more-or-less derelict "60-years-old" space station (today they are the only country to ferry astronauts to the ISS). While heroïc and very skilled, Lev, the cosmonaut, is completely insane.
France : time seems to have stopped in 1945, after the country was liberated.
India : same as China but more religious.
Middle-East : the only thing we see is Hagia-Sophia.
Liv Tyler : Liv Tyler.

And 11Gs to make a tight turn around the Moon...

So

Huh? I didn't see anything out of the ordinary in that video. Could you elaborate?

The Sprinter is a car made by Dodge. He's saying it's rather unusual to see a Dodge Sprinter used as an ambulance when many other different automobiles are used more commonly.

True. You don't see many publicly funded Dodges outside of NCIS.

On that note, I've heard the local police force is intended to upgrade their cruisers to Dodge Chargers. Best of luck all speeders.

Where I used to live, Chargers were standard. I think the cops there wanted their old Crown Victoria's/Intercepters back, because they handled better or something along those lines. That said, the new Ford Taurus Interceptor line they're starting to pump out looks like a promising vehicle. More so than the Chevy line and Dodge line.

Neat! They're upgrading directly from ancient Crown Vickies though around here.

I'll tell you what though, those cars could get goin' like crazy with what, a V12 in there. Took a ride in one once, (my uncle was in SWAT, and I wasn't in the back :P ), and I gotta say, it was pretty fun.

Now that is frustrating... you finally get to Level 7 with lots of reshuffles left...and then the game ends after seven levels and you can't post any highscore to the forum...but well, here is my personal victory over this game:

The police department here is pretty evenly divided between CVPI's and Chargers. Sheriff only uses CVPI's though...
